| Frequently Asked Questions. Here is a list of questions that you may have and that you would like to get the answers for How do i book? Confirm to us by telephone (07545431478) or by email (carl.chambers@lindenhouse.co.uk ) or fill out the contact us form (on the contact us page). We will respond to your enquiry within 24hrs. If the dates are available and you wish to book, we will then hold the dates for 7 days, whilst you arrange your flights. We require a 30% deposit to hold these dates and is non refundable. Once we recieve your deposit full confirmation of your booking and receipt will be sent to you. The balance for your stay plus a £100 damage deposit(refundable) will be required 8 weeks prior to departure. For departures within 8 weeks, full payment will be required.
How can i pay? All payments can be made by UK bank cheque, or bank transfer. I also accept paypal payments (£10 fee for this). My preffered method is a direct transfer into my Cypriot Bank account, i can send details upon request. (all other payments are subject to a £10 fee)
Is car hire essential? Car hire is not essential, but it is recomended if you want to explore further afield than Pyla village. There is also a regular bus service that runs from vilage down to Pyla Beach. The costs are very cheap and on most occasions the driver does not even charge you!! A very nice man indeed! The times are roughly (from Pyla) 7am, 11am, 12.30pm. The return Journey is around 3pm, 5pm and 7pm......no bus stops just flag the driver down!
What is included in your stay? 200kw of electricity is included, this is a genourous amount per week, but we do ask that the aircon is switched off when you are not in the apartments. If the electricity is left on 24/7 this will be taken out of yor deposit.
Is there a mid let clean or maid service? This is not included in the standard price, but can be arranged for £30, please let us know and we can liase with our management company for you.
What language do they speak over there? Greek is the main language in Southern Cyprus, however English is widely spoken. The road signs are bi-lingual, the plugs are uk 240 volt, cars are right hand drive and driven on the left same as here in the UK. You can get around very easily without knowing any Greek!!
Are towels and bedding included? Yes we have bath towels and bedding in the apartments, also 2 pool towels....but no beach towells (please bring your own) In the summer months the beds are made up with just sheets only, but for the winter months duvets are available when the temperature drops slightly.
Is the apartment Air conditioned? Yes, there are 2 units one in the bedroom, and one in the main lounge/dining area. These regulate the temperatures great even on the hottest of days. Please switch off when not in the apartments.
What amenities are on offer in Pyla Village? Pyla has numerous shops/boutiques, a butchers, corner shops, small supermarkets, and several cafes/ bars (some of which are English owned) The locals are freindly and although still a traditional Greek village they are used to tourists and are happy to talk to you. There are also plenty more options on the beach from (dhelkia rd) with a large supermarket and numerous eateries.
How Far is it to Pyla Beach? Pyla beach is approx 3000km, or 30 mins walk. (5 min drive). This is a lovely sandy beach, sunbeds water sports/beach sports, restuarants and cafes.
How far from Larnaca Airport? This is about a 20 minute drive down the A3. The route is very easy, and the complex is easy to find.
